Book review: Three Days To Die

Three Days to Die follows 13 year old Aaron Quinn, who overhears the planning of a bank robbery. The robbers discover and track him down, killing his step-father in the process, although his mother gets away. Quinn ends up joining the gang for robberies, whilst the head of the gang tries to exchange him for his mother.

The novel is set over three days and moves at a very quick pace; within one day of overhearing the plan, Quinn is involved in a spate of robberies. Despite the quick pace, there is time for lots of the characters to be developed and understand their actions. It is a very good action thriller, but it does require a slight suspension of disbelief with the central character being only thirteen years old. I would recommend this book for anyone who is looking for an easy to follow action thriller that is not too violent.
