Book review: The Getaway

The Getaway is the second in the Sam Archer series. Archer finds out that his father has been killed and goes over to New York for the funeral. Whilst there, he learns about the case his father was involved in and, sensing a chance for revenge, soon becomes involved.

This is the second book in the Sam Archer series and is very enjoyable. The plot moves along at a good pace and there are twists and turns throughout as Archer learns more and has to make decisions on who to trust. I did prefer the first book of the series (Nine Lives), but this is still an excellent thriller that features an incredible planned robbery that Archer becomes involved in. I would recommend this book.
